Aluminum pot is lightweight, durable, heats quickly, conducts heat evenly, and does not rust. It is understood that aluminum products mainly include refined aluminum (soft aluminum) products and cast aluminum (hard aluminum) products, made of aluminum and aluminum alloys. The surface color can be divided into white, light yellow, and other colors. White aluminum products are divided into two types: casting and stamping. The surface of the cast aluminum products is treated with car polishing and mechanical polishing, and the surface is white, but the metal structure is loose and there are certain casting defects. Stamped aluminum products undergo surface washing, sanding, and mechanical polishing treatments, resulting in a natural oxide film with a thickness of only 0.01-0.15 μ m, which is thin and uneven and easily scratched or worn by machinery. The yellow aluminum products are stamped products that have undergone anodizing treatment, resulting in a light yellow artificial oxide film on their surface. The oxide film is generally 5-20 μ m thick, uniformly dense, and does not break for 100 seconds under strong alkali action. Therefore, light yellow aluminum products are the best, as they have the characteristics of beauty, easy removal of dirt, strong corrosion resistance, and strong wear resistance. South Koreans usually use yellow aluminum pan to cook noodles.

In daily life, many people like to use steel wire balls to polish the bottom of aluminum pots and pans. Experts say that although this can wipe away stains on the pot, it also removes the protective oxide film on the surface of aluminum cookware. So, when using aluminum cookware such as aluminum pots and pans, there is no need to wipe off the light yellow rust on the surface.
